Standard thermal stripping

Thermal stripping allows the insulation and sheaths of cables made of resistant materials to be removed by the application of heating electrodes at an instantaneous and very high temperature.
Our range can meet any need, whether standard or specific.

STANDARD THERMAL STRIPPING

► Two types of pliers possible:

• Pliers triggered when taking in hand, reference PC3N (compatible with the BDT1A unit)
• Pliers with tactile contactor, reference PC3NC (compatible with the BDT3TS unit and the old BDT3A model)

Advantages of our pliers:
→ Ergonomic handling
→ Width stop to prevent the electrodes from touching each other
→ Depth stop for stripping the exact desired length of wire

► Electrodes mounted in EEDT2 base, universal flat wire electrodes with notch for stripping AWG 8 to 28 wires

Other possible choices:
– EDT2P, flat wire electrodes without notches for stripping small gauges (> 25)
– EEDT3, thin flat wire electrodes with notch for stripping AWG 8 to 28 wires
– EEDT4, flat wire electrodes with double notch AWG 8 to 36
– TEDT2, rigid flat sheet electrodes for AWG 8 to 28 wires, allowing insulation to be removed by traction
– ELEC-STD, straight electrodes without notch for stripping layers
– ELEC-A, straight electrodes with indentations for stripping wires AWG 26-28-30-32
– ELEC-B, straight electrodes with indentations for stripping AWG 18-20-22-24 wires
– ELEC-C, straight electrodes with indentations for stripping wires AWG 22-24-26-28

An antistatic thermal stripper has been developed for ESD environments.
